Full-Time Educational Assistant

Our fast-paced K–12 Thorhild Central School is looking for a dedicated Educational Assistant (EA) to join our vibrant and inclusive learning community. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students from Kindergarten through Grade 12.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic, behavioral, and emotional support to students across grade levels.
- Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and classroom activities.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
- Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, and during outdoor activities.
- Support students with complex needs and collaborate with staff on intervention strategies.
Qualifications:
- Educational Assistant certificate or related training preferred.
- Experience working with children or youth in an educational or care setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Thorhild Central School, located in the Hamlet of Thorhild, provides educational services to approximately 300 students in Grades K-12. This position will commence on August 25, 2025 for the duration of the 2025-2026 school year, ending on June 26, 2026.
